Air Conditioning System Tune Up

We tune up differently at the Air Doctors. We are approved to perform diagnostic tune ups for the customers of DTE Energy and Consumers Energy utility companies. This partnership allows you, the customer, to get rebates and other incentives to keep your system in tip top shape. During a diagnostic tune up, the service technician actually looks into the 3 key areas of your air conditioning system: airflow, refrigerant charge, and electrical performance. We can even calculate the efficiency of your system to make sure you are getting the most out of your ac system. After the tune up is complete, we provide you with real life data (via a service form) on how your equipment is performing. In addition, we perform the manufacturers’ recommended maintenance i.e. cleaning coils, tightening fittings, changing filters. To obtain the rebate, we collect a few pieces of information from you and send the information and our report to the utility company. The utility company that services your home or business will process the rebate and send the rebate check directly to you. You can even elect to have the rebate reassigned and have the check come to us, and we can take the rebate amount off your invoice. Utility rebates are available for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Cooling Services

Flat Rate Upfront Pricing

We don’t charge by the hour. We use an upfront flat rate price book. A diagnostic fee will be required to schedule service. The diagnostic fee will be required to allow a certified technician to travel to your premises and perform the required troubleshooting to determine the problem. Once the problem is identified, the service technician will quote you a flat rate price which includes labor and material costs to resolve the issue. If the repairs are approved, then the diagnostic fee will be applied to the work. There is no obligation to proceed with the service work, but if repairs and services are declined the diagnostic fee still applies. Discounts are available for Military, Civil Workers, Utility Workers, Health Care Workers, and Seniors. We also offer financing for services for as low as $300.00, so payment plans are flexible.

New Air Conditioning Systems

We service all makes and models, but we prefer to install Carrier Air Conditioning products. Carrier products provide the quality and dependability that is unmatched. We offer a 10-year parts and labor warranty with all of our Carrier heating and cooling products (some restrictions apply). Depending on the system you select, (in many cases) we can get a utility-sponsored rebate for your project.
